A cheesy indulgence 🧀
𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
10 lasagna sheets
4 bunches of chopped spinach, properly washed and drained
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 can halved mushrooms
1 onion, diced
10 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp butter
White sauce, with your favorite flavorings (basil, oregano etc)
Salt and pepper, to taste
𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.
Add the spinach, salt and pepper and allow it to cook for about 4 minutes, make sure it doesn’t leave too much water.
In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the lasagna sheets according to the package instructions.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
In your baking tray, spread the white sauce on the base, and then top with 3 lasagna sheets, the sauté spinach, mushrooms and cheese. Repeat with the second layer and top with the white sauce, remaining spinach and lots of cheese
Sprinkle over chili flakes and basil and place into oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
